Electrodeless Discharge Lamp
Working Principle:
Electrodeless Discharge Lamp contains mainly 3 components: high-frequency power source, power distribute unit (PDU) and lamp. The high-frequency current generated by the high-frequency power source produces high-frequency electromagnetic fields through the PDU. The magnetic field changed will create an electric field, which is vertical to the change of the magnetic field. The electrons contained in the lamp are then accelerated. When the electron energy reaches a certain value, the avalanche ionization of the gas filled in this lamp can form plasma. As plasma excited atom returns to the ground state, the UV will be generated, which blazes the phosphors inside of the lamp. |
Utility Parameter:
Electrodeless Discharge Lamp has many advantages, such as high efficiency, energy saving, high Ra-color render and long durability. Except being used as common lighting equipment, it is more often employed in circumstances where inconveniency may be raised during replacement. For instance, the electrodeless discharge lamp is wildly utilized in mines, tunnels, airports, ports, auditorium, theaters, gas stations, playground, meeting rooms and schools. It is also introduced into textile industries where the utilization of the electrodeless discharge lamp significantly reduces the costs of maintenance.
